Song of the Month- October

ABOUT YOU- THE 1975

Wren, an exchange friend, was telling me the other day about her train song- the song she always listens to on the train.

My train song is "About You" by the 1975. I want to start off by saying that I knew this song before it was a TikTok song!! I listened to Being Funny In A Foreign Language when it first came out and was immediately in love with this song, especially Carly's part. At first, I thought Carly Rae Jepsen sang the bridge (it kind of sounds like her, right??), but then I looked it up and found out it was Adam's wife who is also named Carly haha.. SO CUTE! Also, Jack Antonoff produced this album so yeah, this had to be my train song.

This song made me feel like the main character. I always listened to this on the train because of that one lyric "And I miss you on the train." This song really just helped me romanticize my life, living in Europe and exploring the Netherlands on my own.
