i listen to this song almost every day. this song sounds like how fresh air sounds. it's so crisp and beautiful and light, i love it. my favorite lyrics are "and now breathe deep i'm exhaling" + "and i walked off you, and i walked off an old me". the exhaling part always gets me. whenever something terrible or embarrassing or annoying happens, you can always just exhale, release the negative energy, and walk it off. this song symbolizes a new chapter of life. it's a song about independence, confidence, freedom, letting things go, starting fresh, and enjoying life.
